YWCA Regina summer & day camps support healthy child development in a fun environment to keep boredom at bay during those hot summer months. We offer a variety of day programs for children.

PD & School Days
YWCA Regina offers full-day camps during professional development and non-statutory school holidays, dependent on need. YWCA Regina educators develop programming that is based in play and reflect the interests of the children enrolled. Activities can include art, science, circle time, outdoor play and more. Children ages 6 to 12 years of age are welcome. Day camp fees are $45 per day. Lunch and snack are not provided at either location.
 
The camp hours are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and available at both our YWCA Regina kikaskihânaw Centre and Lumsden Elementary School.

Kaleidoscope Youth Camp 2026

Celebrate Community: Queer Youth Summer Camp

Join us at YWCA Regina for a supportive and creative summer camp celebrating queer youth, identity, and community. Participants will explore music, drama, arts education, and clothing modification in a fun, inclusive environment.

Youth will also have access to 1:1 counselling support and connections to Saskatchewan-based queer services.

Weekly Summer Day Camps

From July 4th to September 2nd

Our summer day camps run weekly from July through August (excluding statutory holidays). Your child will engage in activities surrounding the weekly theme. Physical activity, outdoor play, field trips, art, and science are some of the types of activities that are included.

Cost for a 5-day camp is $200/week and $160/week for a 4-day camp. Include a Bonus Week for $45/day.

Please send a water bottle, sunscreen and bug spray, lunch and two snacks (nut-free), and a change of clothing. Please note that guardians will be informed of swimming or splash park excursions at the beginning of the week.

Children ages 6-12 years old are accepted.

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Location (Lumsden): Basement of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 205 Broad St
