WE’RE STEPPING UP AGAIN ON SEPTEMBER 16, 2021!

YWCA Regina Walk A Mile in Her Shoes is a community-focused fundraiser where we ask our supporters to step up to raise awareness on gender-based violence by stepping in to red high heels for an awareness walk through downtown Regina.

The reality is that Saskatchewan has the highest rate of domestic violence in Canada, and that 50% of Canadian women have experienced abuse.

Walkers are invited to learn more about the realities of gender-based violence in Saskatchewan while stepping in to their roles as leaders, allies and change-makers. When you step up at Walk A Mile, you’re standing up against gender-based violence.

There are two ways to Walk A Mile in Her Shoes this year:

  1. Walk where you want, when you want, with whomever you want and share your walk with us on social media during Walk Week from Monday September 13th to Thursday 16th, 2021

  2. Join us in-person on Thursday, September 16, 2021 for a walk in downtown Regina starting at City Square Plaza.”
