At YWCA Regina, we believe every child and youth deserves to feel safe, supported, and empowered. Our programs and services provide safe children’s homes, trusted childcare, and numerous opportunities for growth—helping young people thrive at every stage of life.
YWCA Regina operates four Children’s Homes, providing temporary housing for children aged 0 to 12 with complex needs who are in the care of the Ministry of Social Services. These homes offer a warm, safe, and nurturing environment, supported by a Knowledge Keeper who provides spiritual guidance and culturally appropriate programming. The goal is to promote the well-being of each child while they await the next step in their journey, whether transitioning to stable homes or reunification with their families.
YWCA Regina provides summer and day camps that support healthy child development in a fun environment. These camps offer a variety of day programs for children, including full-day camps during professional development and non-statutory school holidays, as well as weekly summer day camps running from July through August. Activities include arts and crafts, science, outdoor play, physical activity, field trips, and more. Children in Grade 1 up to 12 years of age are accepted.
At YWCA Regina, we’re proud to support the next generation with programs and services that meet families where they are and empower children and youth to thrive.
