Housing & Crisis

Supporting Women and Families in Crisis

At YWCA Regina, we believe that every woman and family deserves a safe place to call home and the dignity of being supported with compassion. For over a century, we’ve stood as a community ally, walking alongside those navigating homelessness, housing instability, or moments of crisis.

Every day, our team responds to some of the most pressing and complex challenges faced by women, children, and families in our community. From the impacts of poverty, violence, and trauma to systemic barriers that disproportionately affect women and gender-diverse people, we are here—with open doors, open hearts, and wrap-around support.

Our programs are designed to meet people where they are. Rooted in trauma-informed care and grounded in our values of love, respect, and allyship, our services help create pathways to safety, healing, and long-term stability. Whether it’s a place to stay tonight or a long-term plan for housing, our goal is to ensure no one feels alone in their journey.

Now located in the new kikaskihtânaw Centre for Women and Families, we are deepening our commitment to be a hub of connection and care—a space that reflects the strength and diversity of the community we serve.
